According to a study by Ohio State, “finer grinding of dry corn, routinely increases starch digestibility in the rumen and can provide more energy to support milk production, as long as dry matter intake is not depressed.”
The Process
We process our cornmeal using an impact grinding method. Dry corn is circulated through a hammer mill and screened to yield cornmeal with a consistent grind size and longer shelf life. Our grinder is a vertical type grinder that is self-cleaning, using gravity to ensure a clean and pure product.
Through rigorous monitoring and recording of data from the moment commodity enters our Facility, we can ensure a consistent, high-quality product.
